1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services of JDH Flooring ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

JDH Flooring provides professional flooring installation, repair, and related services including but not limited to:

  • Hardwood flooring installation and refinishing
  • Vinyl plank (LVP) flooring installation
  • Waterproof flooring installation
  • Laminate flooring installation
  • Flooring repair and restoration services
  • Floor removal and preparation

3. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided are subject to change based on the actual conditions of the project site. Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before work begins. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if unforeseen circumstances arise during the project.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement. Unless otherwise specified:

  • A deposit may be required before work begins
  • Progress payments may be requested for larger projects
  • Final payment is due upon project completion
  • Accepted payment methods will be specified in your agreement

5. Scheduling and Delays

We will make every effort to complete your project within the agreed timeframe. However, delays may occur due to weather, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances. We will communicate any delays promptly and work to minimize their impact.

6. Warranty and Guarantees

We stand behind our work with a satisfaction guarantee. Specific warranty terms will be provided in your service agreement. Our warranty covers workmanship but does not cover damage caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper maintenance or care
  • Water damage or flooding
  • Damage caused by third parties
  • Pre-existing conditions not disclosed

7. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a successful project, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the project site
  • Ensure clear access to work areas
  • Remove or protect personal belongings
  • Disclose any known issues with subfloors or existing flooring
  • Maintain proper climate control during and after installation
  • Follow care and maintenance instructions provided

8. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the stage of the project:

  • Cancellations before work begins: Deposit may be partially or fully refundable
  • Cancellations after materials are ordered: Material costs and restocking fees apply
  • Cancellations after work begins: Payment for completed work and materials used

9. Liability and Insurance

JDH Flooring is fully licensed and insured. We maintain appropriate liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Our liability is limited to the direct damages caused by our work and does not extend to consequential or indirect damages.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
